Buehler (Tommy John surgery) went two perfect innings in a start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, his first game action since June 10 of last season.
Muncy left Sunday's series finale vs. the Braves with left shoulder soreness following a swing in the fifth inning and was replaced by Kiké Hernández. The Dodgers had Monday off. More >
Merrill Kelly, D-backs
Kelly matched a career high with 12 strikeouts Monday afternoon in the D-backs’ 4-2 win over the Rockies at Chase Field. However, for the third time in his past three starts at home, he was forced to exit the game due to cramping in his right hamstring. More >
Nathan Eovaldi and Max Scherzer, Rangers
Eovaldi (right forearm strain) will come off the injured list to start Tuesday against the Astros.
Scherzer (fatigue) left his Friday night start against the Twins after six scoreless innings due to tightness in his forearm. Both Scherzer and manager Bruce Bochy said that they believed the issue stemmed from fatigue rather than an injury, and Bochy said Saturday that Scherzer is still currently scheduled to make his next start. Yu Darvish, Padres
Darvish threw plyometric balls and played very light catch on Sunday, manager Bob Melvin said. Darvish reportedly felt good in doing so, meaning he could begin a true throwing progression soon. More >
Shane Bieber and Triston McKenzie, Guardians
After throwing bullpen sessions at Progressive Field, the Guardians are ready to send Bieber (right elbow inflammation) and McKenzie (UCL sprain in right elbow) to High-A Lake County to face live hitters. Bieber will throw on Thursday and McKenzie is scheduled to pitch on Friday. More >

Robert Jr. was scratched approximately 30 minutes before first pitch on Monday due to right quad cramps. Manager Pedro Grifol said that it’s likely Robert Jr. also misses Tuesday’s game for precautionary reasons. More >

Stanek had to be carted off the field in the ninth inning of Monday's win over the Rangers after injuring his right ankle while covering first base. Manager Dusty Baker said he hoped nothing was broken or structurally wrong but that Stanek "could be out a while." More >

Margot is beginning to ramp up his activities following his Aug. 16 surgery to remove the loose bodies in his elbow.
Walls, who was sidelined with a left oblique strain for six weeks before being activated off the injured list on Friday, was out of the lineup for Monday's series opener against the Red Sox at Tropicana Field due to what manager Kevin Cash described as a little bit of groin soreness.
Adam (strained left oblique) was placed on the 15-day IL prior to Sunday's series finale at Progressive Field, with the assignment made retroactive to Aug. 31. More >
Jonathan India, Matt McLain, Joey Votto and Graham Ashcraft, Reds
Manager David Bell said Sunday that India (left foot plantar fasciitis) could begin a rehab assignment within a week.
McLain, who has been out since Aug. 28 with a right oblique strain, will be out for at least two to three more weeks before he's able to play.
Votto (left shoulder strain) was eligible to be activated from the injured list Sunday, but he is still working on strengthening his shoulder and easing back into hitting. More >
